End of Abyss hides six cheat codes in the facility: Armor, Infinite Ammo, Infinite Equipment, Infinite Health Boosters, Big Head and Big Knife. You cannot read them until you upgrade the Scanner with the Cryptograph, found behind a Level III Access door in the Lower Levels near the end of the game. Scanning a code adds it to the Logbook's Cheat Codes tab, where you switch it on. Scanning is safe, but turning any code on disables achievements on that save.

All six cheat codes
| Code | Effect | Location | You need |
|---|---|---|---|
| Armor | You take minimal damage | Containment Sector B1 | Explosive Charge |
| Infinite Ammo | Infinite ammo | Communication Center F3 | Explosive Charge |
| Infinite Equipment | Equipment never runs out | Outer Sector B2 | Explosive Charge, Grappling Hook |
| Infinite Health Boosters | Health Boosters never run out | Infirmary B1 | Grappling Hook, Incinerator, Infirmary Access and Restricted Access keycards |
| Big Head | Every character gets a big head | Factory West F4 | Explosive Charge, Grappling Hook, Executive Level Access Keycard |
| Big Knife | Cel's knife becomes huge | Habitation Sector B1 | Explosive Charge, Security Guard and Security Chief keycards |
Every code is written on a surface in the world. Without the Cryptograph upgrade the Scanner cannot read it, which is why most players walk past them on a first run.
Step 1: get the Cryptograph
The Cryptograph upgrades the Scanner and earns the Second Sight achievement. It is in the Lower Levels, the last area before the final boss, and needs three access cards.
- Reach the Lower Levels and release the protocols when the mainframe asks.
- Pick up Level I Access at the bottom of a ladder in the room reached from the east elevator on B2.
- Get the Incinerator, burn the Parasitic growth next to the elevator on Lower Levels F1, and open the floor hatch in the room to the south.
- Crawl through the vent to a sealed room and take Level II Access from a body.
- In the north-east hallway of F1, open the south-east door with Level II and climb to F2. Go north, then west, for Level III Access on a short staircase.
- Return to the north-east hallway on F1, open the door in the north-east corner with Level III, and take the Cryptograph from the desk at the end of the hall.
The same Level III card opens the Vault with the Experimental Core. See the Suit Mods guide.
Step 2: where each code is
Armor (Containment Sector B1)
In the room on the west side of the sector, destroy the weak metal ball on the column with an Explosive Charge and scan what is behind it.
Infinite Ammo (Communication Center F3)
Blow open the weak west wall, then check the locker to the east of it. The code is on the inside of the locker door.
Infinite Equipment (Outer Sector B2)
The code is on a wall in the middle of the first corridor. It is easy to miss: move around until the camera angle lets you see the writing, then scan.
Infinite Health Boosters (Infirmary B1)
This is the sealed hatch among the mortuary drawers. Pull it open with the Grappling Hook. You need both Infirmary keycards to reach the room; the route is the same as for the Auto-Defibrillator Vault.
Big Head (Factory West F4)
Use the Executive Level Access Keycard to reach F4, then melee the electrical panels on the north wall of the first room.
Big Knife (Habitation Sector B1)
With the Security Guard and Security Chief keycards, go through the east door of the cell block and check the wall of the third cell.
How to turn codes on, and what it costs
- Scan the code. It is saved to the Cheat Codes section of the Logbook.
- Open the Logbook and toggle the code on or off.
Turning on any code permanently disables achievements and trophies on that save file. Scanning alone does not. If you are hunting the secret ending achievements, finish those first or keep a separate save for cheats.
Which codes are worth using
- For a fast second run: Infinite Ammo plus Armor turns the facility into a quick backtracking trip, useful for mopping up secrets.
- For bosses you are stuck on: Infinite Health Boosters is the gentlest help. The codes only arrive near the end, though, so for early bosses use the boss guide.
- For fun: Big Head and Big Knife change nothing important and look ridiculous in cutscenes.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use cheats from the start of the game?
No. You need the Cryptograph, which is in the Lower Levels near the end. The codes are a reward for exploring rather than a menu option.
Do cheat codes work on PS5 and Xbox?
Yes. They are part of the game itself, found and enabled the same way on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
What is the sealed hatch in End of Abyss?
The best-known one is in the Infirmary B1 morgue, which hides the Infinite Health Boosters code. Sealed hatches open with the Grappling Hook, and since update 1.014 scanned hatches show on the map.
Are there PC trainers or console commands?
Not officially. This page only covers the in-game codes; third-party trainers are unsupported and can break saves.
This page only uses details from official store pages, developer statements and hands-on press previews. Anything unconfirmed before the October 1, 2026 launch is left out and will be added once verified. Last research pass: October 11, 2026.
