The short answer

Community PC mods for End of Abyss are listed on Nexus Mods, including translation, crafting and upgrade changes. These downloads are separate from the ten in-game Suit Mods. Start with the author pages below: installation differs between packaged content and UE4SS mods. A listing does not establish compatibility with your installed patch, and it does not imply developer endorsement.

Installation: identify the mod format first

Find your actual game installation folder in Epic Games Launcher before copying anything. A custom library location can differ from an example path. Close the game and keep a copy of files you plan to replace.

FormatWhat to checkExample
Packaged contentFollow the author’s folder instructions and include all files named in the downloadThe crafting and weapon-upgrade authors specify EndOfAbyss/Content/Paks/~mods.
UE4SSCheck loader requirements and the archive’s expected root folderAbyss Tweaks uses UE4SS; its files page says to extract into the game root.
TranslationFollow that translation’s own directionsDo not assume that a translation and a gameplay mod use the same setup.
  1. Read the description, requirements and files tabs for the exact release you intend to use.
  2. Record your game version and installed mod filenames so you can identify a later conflict.
  3. Install one change at a time, following its author’s instructions.
  4. Check that the game launches and the intended change appears before adding another mod.

Check whether an official patch already fixes your problem

The developer’s October 10 update already lowers crafting costs and lets crates drop Fragments. It also addresses elevators, map progress and several progression blockers. If you only want less resource grinding or a route unblocked, check the official patch notes before changing game files.

PC version 1.0.1.6 corresponds to PlayStation version 01.016.000 in those notes. This version mapping does not prove a community mod works on either platform. The linked PC downloads should not be treated as console installation instructions.

Removing a mod or diagnosing a problem

Use the author’s uninstall instructions first. For Abyss Tweaks, the author specifies removing its own files and folders from the UE4SS Mods directory with the game closed. Keep any personal configuration you want to reuse separately.

For a packaged mod, use your installation record to identify its files rather than deleting the whole Paks directory. If an update changes behavior, remove the most recent mod change and test again. Report the game version and mod version when asking the author for help.

Looking for Experimental Core or the ten Suit Mods?

Those are equipment found inside the game; they require no download. Our Suit Mod locations page covers Vault Keys, Radiation Protection, Experimental Core and Suit Power. For built-in unlockable codes, use the cheat code guide.

Community mods are also not evidence of a multiplayer mode. Read the co-op and multiplayer guide for the store-listed player modes.
