The short answer

No. End of Abyss has no New Game+ mode, and the patches so far have not added one. After the credits you can load your save and keep playing from just before the final boss, with your gear intact and every area still open. Use that save for the secret ending, missed collectibles and trophies. A brand-new save starts from scratch: weapons and upgrades do not carry over.

No New Game+, and what that means

GamingTrend's review states it plainly: "Unfortunately, there is no New Game+." The menu offers Continue or a fresh start. Section 9 Interactive's patches have so far focused on bugs, map progress and crafting costs, not new modes; check the patch notes for the latest build.

What happens after the credits

After the normal ending, return to the main menu and press Continue. The game reloads the Safe Room before the final boss, the Fractured Being. Your equipment is unchanged and the whole facility can be revisited, so nothing in the story is missable.

  1. Collect all eight Data Shards and deliver them to the Mainframe on Lower Levels B3.
  2. Fight the final boss again for the second ending. Full order: secret ending guide.
  3. Sweep the Logbook and the secrets list for missing entries.
  4. Finish the remaining trophies.

Order matters: beat the boss once before delivering the shards. If all eight are delivered before your first kill, that save skips the normal ending and its achievement.

Is a second playthrough worth it?

GamingTrend adds that replaying "with the knowledge of where to go" is still rewarding. A reviewer at 100pguides who finished several times put a known-route run under three hours, against a first run of roughly 10–13 hours; see how long to beat.

  • Want both endings and every trophy? One save is enough. A second save is not required.
  • Want a cleaner run? Start fresh and follow the walkthrough to skip dead ends.
  • Want an easier replay? The cheat codes help, but switching any code on disables trophies on that save.

New Game+ FAQ

Does anything carry over to a new save?

No. An early patch even fixed a bug where partial progress from one save carried into a new one. A new save is a clean start.

Will New Game+ be added later?

Section 9 Interactive has not announced it. We will update this page if a patch adds one.
